OPEN BOOK: Challenging Stereoypes Through Community Conversations is a program modeled after the Human Library series. Co-sponsored by Sonoma County Public Library and KOWS-fm community radio, moderated by Arnold Levine of KOWS radio.
This is the 1st in the series bringing 3 BOOKS, community members who have volunteered to be “Open Books”, discussing their lives and answering questions from the community present.
This program includes: Meredith, a transgender female from Petaluma, Kylie, a diagnosed schizophrenic from Santa Rosa, and Kim, a homeless mother from Santa Rosa.
